Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds and rice to serve
Instructions
- 1Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch slurry together.
- 2Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok over high heat. Sear beef in batches, 1-2 min per side. Set aside.
- 3Add remaining oil. Stir-fry garlic and ginger 30 seconds.
- 4Add broccoli with 2 tbsp water. Cover and steam 2 minutes.
- 5Return beef. Pour in sauce. Toss everything until sauce thickens and coats.
- 6Serve over rice, garnished with sesame seeds.
