Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, butterflied or pounded flat
- 4 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 400F.
- 2Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- 3Layer mozzarella, tomato, and basil on each chicken breast.
- 4Roll up and secure with toothpicks.
- 5Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet. Sear chicken rolls 2-3 minutes per side.
- 6Transfer to oven and bake 15-18 minutes until internal temp reaches 165F.
- 7Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
