Ingredients
- 1.5 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 tbsp butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and coarse black pepper
- Toothpicks or bamboo skewers
Instructions
- 1Season steak cubes generously with salt and coarse black pepper.
- 2Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until smoking.
- 3Sear steak bites in batches without crowding, 1-2 minutes per side for medium.
- 4Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
- 5Baste steak bites with garlic butter for 1-2 minutes.
- 6Serve immediately on toothpicks with crusty bread to soak up the butter.
