Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and coarse black pepper
  • Toothpicks or bamboo skewers

Instructions

  1. 1Season steak cubes generously with salt and coarse black pepper.
  2. 2Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until smoking.
  3. 3Sear steak bites in batches without crowding, 1-2 minutes per side for medium.
  4. 4Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  5. 5Baste steak bites with garlic butter for 1-2 minutes.
  6. 6Serve immediately on toothpicks with crusty bread to soak up the butter.
