Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Sesame seeds and green onions to serve

Instructions

  1. 1Mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil for the sauce.
  2. 2Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  3. 3Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken skin-side down 5-6 minutes until golden.
  4. 4Flip chicken, pour sauce over, reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. 5Cover and cook 15-18 minutes until internal temp reaches 165F.
  6. 6Uncover, increase heat slightly, and baste until sauce thickens and caramelizes.
  7. 7Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with rice.
