Italian Baked Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano and Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Fresh parmesan and pasta to serve

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. 2Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes. Mix with all meatball ingredients until just combined.
  3. 3Form into 2-inch balls. Place on baking sheet.
  4. 4Bake 20-22 minutes until cooked through to 160F.
  5. 5Simmer meatballs in marinara sauce for 10 minutes. Serve over pasta with parmesan.
