Quick Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

    1Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  1. 2While pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. 3Add shrimp and garlic, cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  3. 4Toss in drained pasta with pasta water as needed.
  4. 5Sprinkle with parsley, season with salt and pepper.
  5. 6Serve immediately with parmesan if desired.
